Single process color
A one-step hair coloring technique that applies one single color formula to the hair in a single application, resulting in a uniform, one-dimensional shade. This method can be used to cover grays, deepen existing hair color, or achieve a new all-over color without the multi-tonal, dimensional effects of a double process.
Double Process color
Double process color is a two-step hair coloring service that involves lightening the hair with a bleach or lightener, followed by a second application of a new color, toner, or glaze to achieve a desired dramatic or vibrant shade. This technique is necessary for achieving significantly lighter colors, such as platinum blonde, vibrant pastels, or bold fashion colors, on darker hair.
